Hague: Libya conflict 'sustainable indefinitely'

The US and UK have recognised the Libyan opposition, the Transitional National Council (TNC), as the country's legitimate governing authority.
The move means billions of dollars of Libyan assets frozen in US banks could be released to the rebels.
The UK's decision was in part a pragmatic one, Foreign Secretary William Hague told the programme.
"In practice this is the legitimate governing authority that we are working with," he said.
But while the TNC are not elected, Mr Hague also said that they enjoyed widespread popular support in the country, and were drawing up "coherent plans" for the post-Gadaffi country.
"They are people committed to a free, democratic future for their country. I don't doubt their sincerity in that," he said.
As the conflict continues, he said, the pressure was on Gaffafi and not the coalition.
"It is time that is against him, it is not time that is against us," he said. "These operations are sustainable indefinitely."
